Beating the Heat

Last weekend, on a very hot day, we went in the backyard to play in the sprinker and on the slip-n-slide. Michael learned that he could surf-n-slide on his boogie board. We were out there for hours having a very refreshing blast. There is a huge muddy dent in the lawn now from the slip-n-slide.

Francis Webster Day, Cont.

We were all just messing around at the park in Cedar City. It's about 3 minutes of nonsense, but I thought some of the out-of-state family would appreciate it for what it's worth. Look how much we've grown!

Francis Webster Day

Statue of Francis Webster

Grandma and Grandpa, the Ewells, the Searles, and the Youngs went to Cedar City to attend a town meeting dedicated to Francis Webster. The great-great-great grandchildren of Francis Webster (that means us cousins) unveiled the statue which is standing in the historical downtown of Cedar City right outside Bulloch Drug Store, which used to be his main "office" for his sheep association.
After the ceremony, Grandpa gave us a tour of the Halterman and Matheson farms in Enoch.

We ended up spending a lot of time exploring the huge car cemetery on one of the Matheson farms.

We love the Hippy van! Peace Out!

I wish everyone else could have been there. We all had an awesome time.
